Shell-cast aluminium parts for the urban sector

We have gained particular experience in the sector of public lighting, road signs, etc, that enables us to meet its specific requirements: combining the design of the designer with the optimum design of a cast part, the quality of the skin for aesthetic reasons and the use of an alloy with good resistance to corrosion.

Dialogue with the customer as of the design is an important element in the final result.

Our organisation according to the IS0 9000 standard, our working procedures, our involvement with the desire to find constructive solutions, but also the traceability per batch, helped by our computerised processes (ERP/CRM software) are the ingredients of our complete service.

A few aluminium parts produced for the urban sector

Postbox entry slot (+plate with collection times) for the Belgian Post Office.

Result: shaped part in AlMg3Ti. The polishing of the concave shape of the profile required specific know-how and precision. Part anodised and coloured champagne in our workshops.

Flask for acoustic light (Schréder) in AS12. This was an urgent project. Little time for perfecting the design, no room for design errors, the part had to be waterproof. Optimisation of our design by numerical simulation of filling and solidification.

Tourist direction indicator in AlSi12, length 1000 mm.

Result : important flatness for machining the letters, which is a delicate operation with the part still being flexible when taken out of the mould. Particularly clean coarse surface skin despite the length of the imprint to be filled.

This enables direct electrostatic coating with powder paint without reworking the surface.
