Your aluminium parts gravity cast in metal shell moulds.
Our family firm has been active for more than 40 years. It is located in HUY, close to the major motorway arteries and Bierset airport.
At the centre of Europe, close to our Belgian, German, French and Dutch customers (340 km from Paris, 180 km from Lille, 85 km from Aachen, 150 km from Cologne, 430 km from Hannover, 65 km from Maastricht, 150 km from Eindhoven).
Our calling is the mass production of aluminium alloy components gravity cast in metal shell moulds as well as their finishing. Including parts made of anodisable alloy such as AG3T.
We have flexible machines, designed to meet our specific needs to the best.
Our facilities are perfectly suited for the production of parts ranging from a few grams to several kilos, in batches of the order of 100 to 25,000 parts.
We also do tilt casting, a process that enables gentle filling (reduction of air entrapment and oxidation) and a reduction of the quantity of aluminium needlessly used in the casting process (greater yield)
This is further strengthened by our active participation in a European research project on the implementation and control of tilt casting.
Terminal for high voltage circuit-breaker: closed non-demouldable interior , formed by a sand shell core, and steel nut inserted in the casting.
To realise interior forms that are not naturally demouldable, we make hollow cores in sand with a semi-automatic “hot box” core-forming machine (croning or shell moulding).
For clear reasons of economy, we endeavour to cast a part that is as close as possible to the finished part. Depending on need, we insert a part of another material into the cast aluminium part. For example, an overmoulded stainless steel nut.
Handle for anti-panic opening with stainless steel fork inserted in the casting.
